From November 21st to 22nd, the review meeting of the "Bayinbulak Civil Airport Construction Project Pre-Feasibility Study Report" was held in Beijing.

The review meeting was entrusted by the National Development and Reform Commission and organized by China Civil Aviation Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd. More than 70 leaders and experts from the Central Military Commission, Air Force, Civil Aviation and local governments participated in the meeting.

The responsible comrades of the Development and Reform Commission of the Autonomous Region stated that they will actively implement the "Several Opinions of the State Council on Further Promoting the Sound and Rapid Development of Xinjiang's Social Economy", actively promote the development of regional aviation in Xinjiang, and vigorously support the construction of new airports.

Duo Heng, member of the Standing Committee of Hejing County and executive deputy county magistrate, said that the Bayinbulak civil airport project belongs to the new airport project of the "13th Five-Year Plan for China's Civil Aviation Development", and the project site is located in the southwest of Bayinbulak Town, Hejing County . This phase of the project takes 2030 as the construction target year. It is proposed to build a terminal building and supporting facilities such as water supply, power supply, fuel supply, communication, fire rescue, etc., with an annual passenger throughput of 250,000 passengers and an annual cargo and mail throughput of 500 tons.
